Pointe West has quickly become one of Galveston Island’s favorite retreats! The 1000 acre property is located on the last three miles of the West End of the island. Pointe West has something for everyone and offers private vacation rental homes, cottages and condos, and just because you are not staying in a condo at the resort does not mean you will not have access to resort amenities. All vacation rentals in the Pointe West neighborhood offer access to the Point West amenities.
The Pointe West Beach Club offers numerous amenities; infinity pool, children’s pool, lazy river, fitness center, bar, restaurant, gift shop, game room, gas grills and cabanas are available to rent on the beachfront, and the Pointe West Sunset Pool with lazy river, shallow area for the little ones, hot tub, fire-pit and more grills are located on the bayside.
Over a mile of private, vehicle free beach for your enjoyment. Highly maintained, our beaches are among the cleanest and most inviting on the Texas coast. Bring your beach towels, sunscreen and smiles for a wonderful day on the beach!
Pointe West Beach Club charges $12 per person (ages 3 and older) from March to September. As of June 2020, Pointe West HOA has decided to limit the number of wristbands to three per bedroom. There is absolutely no exceptions to this rule, and if a wristband is lost, it will not be replaced. The access fee is paid by credit card or cash directly to the beach club and is not included in rental rates. Use of the beach club is optional.
During these unexpected times, the Ryson team continues to do our best to stay in touch with local HOAs regarding their updated amenities rules or access for guests, and we try to communicate these unexpected changes to our guests the best we can. However, if there are community amenities you plan on using during your stay, it is recommended to verify these amenities before making a reservation and again shortly prior to your arrival. As of 06/26/2020 Pointe West has closed their onsite restaurant and bar. Ryson’s Covid-19 page is also a great source of current information about island in general.
