Prager Bay View Description

The Prager Bay View has been a favorite Galveston destination for many years.  Situated between a cul-de-sac and a canal, it has a homey feel that your family will fall in love with.  There are three bedrooms sleeping a total of eight.  It has 2 1/2 baths; the full baths have been upgraded with granite counter tops and new showers.  The downstairs bedroom is isolated from the rest of the house.  It's a good space for privacy or someone with mobility issues.  This is where the half bath is located.

The kitchen is uncommonly well-stocked and has a full range of appliances.  Granite counter tops add to the home-like feel.  The living areas are bright and comfortable with a vaulted ceiling in the great room.  The washer and dryer are located in the downstairs store room.

The canal offers a chance to fish from the boat dock and there are underwater fish lights to attract fish at night.  There's a fish cleaning to process your catch.  There are kayaks and a newly installed swimming pool for you to enjoy.

A deck wraps three-quarters of the way around the house, so you can always choose sun or shade.  From the comfortable seats on the deck you can enjoy an awesome view of your surroundings and boat traffic.  And don't miss the sunsets!  You will also enjoy the breezeway area downstairs.  It's just right visiting with your party, or to take in the aroma of food grilling, or to have a drink or just take in the canal and pool views.

The yard space which includes the lot next door is exceptional.  It is fenced on three sides.  There's plenty of room for a game of fetch with your pooch or to set up a volleyball net or croquet game.

If you want to be indoors,. though, you'll find lots of entertainment options.  There are board games and books.  You will find all the electronics you could want.  There is cable TV with DVR, DVD player, Roku and Amazon Alexa.  There is even an open connection to hook up your gaming system.

This will be your home away from home.  You will feel very welcome here; especially when you find the complimentary welcome basket and personal note from the owners.

Community of Jamaica Beach
Jamaica Beach Galveston is one of the most popular beaches and sought after neighborhoods when it comes to vacation rentals – what it lacks in size, it makes up for action during the summer months, holidays and event weekends! Jamaica Beach is far enough out to be away from the hustle and bustle of Seawall (8 miles), and but not too far away from most of the island attractions (10 miles from 61st Street).
Jamaica Beach also has it’s own community pool* and private marina and boat ramp, Regatta Basin,* a community pavilion* and playground.
