Jamaica Waves Description

Jamaica Waves is an impressive beachfront home in a great location of Jamaica Beach, Galveston Island. Jamaica waves has a wide open concept living/dining/kitchen area that is updated with granite countertops, appointed with stainless steel appliances and a darling breakfast bar. This charming home will sleep up to 12 guests!

The living and dining area have full views of the Gulf of Mexico. Wake up to the beach views in two of the bedrooms that also have private deck access. This home has lovely hardwood floors and crown molding throughout. The heart pine wide plank floors run from end to end in this home. The deck from the living area is extremely large at 44"X19' - room for everyone to watch the shrimp boats go out and get their morning catch. Part of the main deck is covered so guests may catch gulf breezes and still enjoy a full Gulf view.

Sleeping accommodations at Jamaica Waves are as follows: The primary bedroom has a king bed (sleeps 2), balcony access, TV, ceiling fan. The second bedroom has a queen bed (sleeps 2), TV, ceiling fan and access to walk out balcony. The third bedroom features a twin over full bunk with a twin trundle (sleeps 4 total). The living room has a full size sleeper sofa (sleeps 2) and a full size futon (sleeps 2). This home is also equipped with wifi for the convenience of the guests. The second bath has a step in shower.

Jamaica Beach

Jamaica Beach is one of the most popular beaches and sought after neighborhoods when it comes to vacation rentals - what it lacks in size, it makes up for in action during the summer months, holidays and event weekends! Jamaica Beach is far enough out to be away from the hustle and bustle of Seawall (8 miles), and not too far away from most of the island attractions (10 miles from 61st Street).

Jamaica Beach offers a public community pool,* private boat ramp (Regatta Basin),* a community pavilion and a neighborhood park. It's is located on Galveston Island's West End, and is surrounded by the city of Galveston to its East and West, but has been its own city since 1975. This beach town takes pride in this, with its own fire department, police department, city hall and city ordinances, separate from the City of Galveston.

City of Jamaica Beach offers a family friendly atmosphere, and quiet hours are enforced from 10 pm to 7 am.

This home is pet-friendly - one dog will be accepted ($100 pet fee per pet). All pets must be registered, and pet fee must be paid upfront. Outside the home, dogs must be leashed at all times, and owners are responsible for picking up after dogs.

Most houses allow up to four vehicles to be parked at the property, but some properties may not be able to accommodate this maximum. Vehicles should be parked in the driveway or designated parking space. At no time should any vehicle be parked on lawns, yards or dune.

Some of the properties Ryson manages require additional fees for things like parking passes, resort fees, amenity wristbands, etc. When permitted by the community to collect and pay those fees in advance, we included them in the pricing and quotes. However, some communities require these fees be paid at the complex upon arrival.

Cable television, even if listed as an amenity, may not be available on all TV’s; oftentimes additional TV's are available for guests wanting to hook up their own game systems or streaming devices.
