Dawn 1012-Our Beach Break Description

The Dawn 1012-Our Beach Break is a front-facing unit with a full view of the Gulf of Mexico. This updated and spacious condo will accommodate up to six guests. This condo is located in front of the newly restored "Babe's Beach" at 70th and Seawall Boulevard - close to everything that Galveston has to offer.

The porch also has a walkout area to a grassy lawn of the complex. Walk right out the patio doors and over Seawall Blvd. to the Gulf of Mexico. Very tastefully decorated, this gorgeous condo boasts a featured stone wall in the living room with a designer faux fireplace (no fires), a very comfortable queen sleeper sofa, dining table with four chairs leads into galley style kitchen. The kitchen is full size including granite countertops, modern stainless steel appliances and full-size washer/dryer. The primary bedroom has a queen bed and an over-sized walk-in closet, where two twin rollaway beds are stored. The primary bath features a tub/shower and access from both the bedroom and the living area.

The first-floor unit has easy access and terrific views of the water from the front porch.

The Dawn Condominiums feature two swimming pools (one pool is heated to 81° in the cooler months), poolside hot tub, community grilling areas, fitness center, on-site laundry and gated parking.

All units at The Dawn offer a private covered balcony or patio, and front-facing units offer unobstructed Gulf views! The balcony is the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee or unwind in the evening with a glass of your favorite beverage. Walk to shopping, restaurants, ice cream, fishing and the beach. Guests could easily park their vehicle upon arrival and never drive again until check-out. The Dawn is walking distance to Walmart, McDonald’s, Pit Stop BBQ, Papa John’s, Jimmy John’s, Sonic, Golden Corral, Happy Buddha, Waffle House, Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt, Frios Gourmet Pops & Island Froyo, Rita’s Italian Ice, Seawall Souvenirs, Valero Corner Store, Babe’s Beach and the world’s longest continuous sidewalk, Seawall Boulevard.

Babe’s Beach, complete with lifeguards and chair and umbrella rentals, is directly across the street from The Dawn! Babe’s Beach is named after A.R. “Babe” Schwartz. As a state senator, Babe championed open beaches and environmental stewardship.

For those who love saltwater fishing, head over to the longest fishing pier in Texas, Galveston Fishing Pier – open 24 hours a day. With your Ryson reservation, guests have the option of a free attraction ticket every single day of their stay, and Galveston Fishing Pier is one the free ticket options.

All kitchens are fully stocked with pots, pans and dishes to make breakfast, lunch or dinner, and guests are so close to so many delicious places to eat if you don’t feel like cooking or decide to order in after a long day at the beach or pool. All reservations at The Dawn Condominiums require a $35 + Tax parking fee per vehicle (two max). The Dawn does not allow boats, RV’s or trailers to be parked on-premises. The Dawn requires this fee be paid directly to The Dawn HOA at their front office upon arrival.

When registering at The Dawn guests will receive their pool/gym bands (up to 6 for a one-bedroom and up to 8 for a two-bedroom) and access codes for parking gates, walk-through gates and for the fitness center. Pool/gym bands should be returned to The Dawn prior to departure.

Guests with limited mobility should consider parking and possible stairs to access unit, as The Dawn does not have elevators. A Ryson Vacation Planner would be happy to go over the location and access of specific units.
