Dawn 722 - Poolside Paradise Description

This fully furnished one bedroom, one bath condo at The Dawn 722-Poolside Paradise features views of both the pool and the Gulf of Mexico. Sit on the patio where guests can watch as the sun rises over the Gulf and the fishing boats go out for their morning catch-all while enjoying a morning cup of coffee. Enjoy the pool view from this second-floor unit.

The open concept living and dining room is also attached to the walkout balcony. Guests sitting on the sofa will have a Gulf view through the window of the bedroom. The living area features an extra-large 55" flat-screen television, ample seating and a queen sleeper sofa.& The primary bedroom also has a queen bed, television and ceiling fan. The bath features access from both the primary bedroom and the common area. This property has a fully appointed kitchen with a large refrigerator, full oven/stove, microwave and dishwasher and enough cooking equipment to accommodate up to 4 people and enjoy a full meal.  The full-size washer and dryer are in a separate laundry room off of the kitchen.

THE DAWN COMMUNITY

The Dawn Condos Galveston is Located on Seawall, just West of 69th Street, The Dawn Condominiums can’t be missed with the tropical colors, palm trees and beautifully landscaped grounds. The Dawn Condominiums feature two swimming pools (one pool is heated to 81° in the cooler months), poolside hot tub, community grilling areas, fitness center, on-site laundry and gated parking.

All units at The Dawn offer a private covered balcony or patio, and front-facing units offer unobstructed Gulf views! The balcony is the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee or unwind in the evening with a glass of your favorite beverage. Walk to shopping, restaurants, ice cream, fishing and the beach. Guests could easily park their vehicle upon arrival and never drive again until check-out. The Dawn is walking distance to Walmart, McDonald’s, Pit Stop BBQ, Papa John’s, Jimmy John’s, Sonic, Golden Corral, Happy Buddha, Waffle House, Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt, Frios Gourmet Pops & Island Froyo, Rita’s Italian Ice, Seawall Souvenirs, Valero Corner Store, Babe’s Beach and the world’s longest continuous sidewalk, Seawall Boulevard.

Babe’s Beach, complete with lifeguards and chair and umbrella rentals, is directly across the street from The Dawn! Babe’s Beach is named after A.R. “Babe” Schwartz. As a state senator, Babe championed open beaches and environmental stewardship.

For those who love saltwater fishing, head over to the longest fishing pier in Texas, Galveston Fishing Pier – open 24 hours a day. With your Ryson reservation, guests have the option of a free attraction ticket every single day of their stay, and Galveston Fishing Pier is one the free ticket options.

All kitchens are fully stocked with pots, pans and dishes to make breakfast, lunch or dinner, and guests are so close to so many delicious places to eat if you don’t feel like cooking or decide to order in after a long day at the beach or pool. Many local Galveston restaurants offer delivery, but if you don’t find what you’re looking for that way, check out Waitr, UberEats, DoorDash or ezCater (restaurant options and menus available online).

If all of that is not enough, after a hot day in the sun, The Dawn is just a short drive or long walk to cool off at Galveston’s Premiere 11 movie theater.

NOTES

All reservations at The Dawn Condominiums require a $35 parking fee per vehicle (two max). The Dawn does not allow boats, RV’s or trailers to be parked on-premises. The Dawn requires this fee be paid directly to The Dawn HOA at their front office upon arrival.

When registering at The Dawn guests will receive their pool/gym bands (up to 6 for a one-bedroom and up to 8 for a two-bedroom) and access codes for parking gates, walk-through gates and for the fitness center. Pool/gym bands should be returned to The Dawn prior to departure.

Guests with limited mobility should consider parking and possible stairs to access unit, as The Dawn does not have elevators. A Ryson Vacation Planner would be happy to go over the location and access of specific units.

All Ryson properties are non-smoking.

The Dawn does not allow pets.
